Showcase your work at the inaugural Undergraduate Symposium

We’re excited to announce the first Undergraduate Symposium for Creative Activity and Research, taking place on Thursday, April 23, 2026 in the IMU. The symposium highlights original research, scholarly inquiry, artistic expression, and creative projects from across disciplines. Prizes will be awarded to top presenters.

Asiyah Din

Asiyah Din, who majors in physics, human biology, and applied mathematics, has spent much of her undergraduate career researching dark matter and axions with Professor Michael Snow in the IU Physics Department.

Kyle Schardt - musician, composer, activist

Kyle Schardt studies jazz and classical guitar at the IU Jacob's School of Music. When he's not practicing, he's composing or performing with various ensembles, including the socially conscious large ensemble, the Liberation Music Collective.
