The Federal Work Study Research Assistant Program is an opportunity for eligible students to earn hourly wages for mentored research and creative activity opportunities. To qualify, students must: 1) be eligible to receive Federal Work Study, 2) be accepted into a research or creative activity experience with a faculty or graduate student mentor, and 3) not be receiving other forms of funding or academic credit for their research experience.
Priority is given to students who have completed a research program administered by the IUUR office.
To Apply:
All interested students should complete the FWS Research Assistant application. Funds are limited and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until funds have been exhausted.
For Mentors:
Are you a faculty member or graduate student interested in hiring an undergraduate student to do mentored research? Check out how the IUUR office can help by visiting the Faculty and Graduate Student Mentors page.
